This is the factory cylinder head for 1969 1970 up to 1/1971 Datsun 240z.
This E31 head was limited to the first 10,000 240z cars produced. This head was highly desirable for race teams in the 70s and 80s. There are not many left available on the planet for purchase.
Featuring a close-chambered combustion chamber for optimum quench and performance. This also prevents detonation from daily driving to full race scenarios.
The head and combustion chambers allows you to bump your static compression on N/A engines. 10.0:1-10.4:1 is a safe bet for 91-93 octane premium fuel. This head can also easily be machined to reach compression ratios of 11-14:1 with race fuel.
